A fresh start
Relearning the Art of Storytelling
I’ve been writing this newsletter for almost three years now—somewhat consistently—but there’s one thing I’ve never quite improved: my storytelling.
I want to write in a way that pulls you in, makes you think, and actually matters. Right now, I feel like I’m missing that. My writing often drags, and my sentences feel unfocused and blurry. I don’t put nearly enough effort into refining my message. I don’t want to keep making the same mistakes.
So, this is my first step toward relearning how to write.
I want to create something that sparks reflection—about life, Islam, and growth. Not just words filling up a page but something that sticks with you long after you’ve read it.
To be honest, after three years, I don’t have much traction. Few reads, and barely any subscribers. And while numbers were never the goal, sometimes we need a way to measure whether we’re actually getting better.
So here’s my commitment: I’m going to work on this. To tell better stories. To write with purpose. And hopefully, to create something worth your time.
If you’ve been reading along, whether for months or just today, thank you. I hope what comes next will be something truly worth sharing.
See you soon,
New newsletter from the week of the 24th of Feb. Every Wednesday at 6pm.

I love your dedication in writing these newsletters as they are informative and there is always something to learn about. I can’t wait to read your upcoming newsletters!
